Welcome to the First Alumni Newsletter of the 2005-2006 school year. We have lots to report!

1) We have just finished one of Epsilon Chi's most successful Rushes! With Rush Chair Rory "CPU" Gangbar at the helm, "AEPi Original Spiced Rush" (Captain Morgan....) was a great time for Brothers and Rushees. From Jordan "Hardwood" Ross riding his sik electric scooter thing into our BBQ, to another Crazy Silly fo' Rilly (Laser Quest) and finally to the puke-fest that is Apartment Crawl, AEPi has once again established itself as the best frat in Montreal. Making up for the loss of the Thetas that graduated, we've given out almost 25 bids to the soon-to-be 'Nu' Pledge Class!

2) AEPi's Splashbash Montreal will be held this year on November 5th. Any alumni that want to drop in for the most insane party in Montreal should just let us know and we'll hook you up with all the info.

3) That's right, I'm warning you early! After talking to some alumni I've decided to move Alumni Weekend a little earlier this year. So, tentatively, it is scheduled for February 11th. That may change, but that's what we're aiming for. We also want a ton of alumni out this year. The weekend is going to be better than last year (that's right FOTS), and we're going to have a ton of new brothers that could learn a lot from all of your combined experience. I'll get more info out to you as soon as I get it.

4) -In other news, AEPi has an unofficial Frat House this year. While only two brothers (the Sentinel- me) and 'Lieutenant Commander William Riker of the USS Enterprise' live in it, it will be the center of frat activities for the coming year.
   - Epsilon Chi will be sending a delegation to Conclave this year, we were not represented at last year's conclave.
   - Despite some new attempted competition from some guys trying to start up a Sigma Alpha Mu Chapter at McGill (another Jewish frat), AEPi is getting a great reputation. Freshman routinely seek us out, as we saw at the different 'Welcome Back' Hillel events.
   - AEPi has a seat on the Hillel Board of Directors
   -Mazel Tov to Daniel "Peanut" Bar-Dayan, on his 1st Wedding Anniversary, to be celebrated in October

- If anyone has any upcoming Simchas, (wedding, annivesary, arrival of a child, etc.) please let us know! We want to celebrate with you at this happy time.
